Most effective I've tried
I have some pretty thick hypertrophic surgical scarring on my chest, and some less noticeable scarring on my abdomen. The tape is the only brand I've found that actually seems to make a difference. It's slow going, but after a few months I'd say there's been visible improvement. It definitely leaves the scar tissue softer and more hydrated. The less prominent scarring is fading really well with the gel.

Works well on new scars
Using the combination of the gel and tape I can already see improvement in ugly post-op scar in the first week. I started application 3 weeks after hip replacement.
